API 11B Polished Rod

The API 11B Polished Rods is the top and strongest part of the sucker-rod string and it connects the rod to the pumping unit. It has the following function, such as :

• It transfers the pumping load into the surface pumping unit
• Serves as a seal in the installation stuffing box to prevent well fluids from escaping.

To prevent well fluids from entering the atmosphere, the surface of the polished rod is machined to close tolerance and has an ultra-smooth surface. Corrosion by good fluids and abrasive action can damage the high-quality finish material used in the well, resulting in fluid leakage. In this instance, a roughened polished rod is installed in its place.

The API 11B polished rods are available in standard lengths between 8ft and 40 ft. The polished rod is a simple rod with constant outside diameters that are polished. The two pins have polished rod (PR) pin threads, in addition to the standard Sucker Rod pin threads, that are used to connect the sucker rod.

Manufactured according to API Spec 11B using prime API Monogrammed. Our API 11B Polished Rod are manufactured, heat-treated, threaded, and tested at our facility according to our stringent quality assurance procedures and exceed the requirements for API Spec 11B certification for applicable grades. Our products are available in a wide range of sizes, weights, lengths, and grades with any combination of the connections.

You can choose to mark monogram or monogramable the product based on your requirements. Custom marking can also be provided on your request or end-customer request

Domestic Components Level (TKDN)

Our API 11B Polished Rod has passed Tingkat Kandungan Dalam Negeri (TKDN) / Domestic Component Level with 13.07%. with that qualification, we assure you that our product will pass every tender or qualification needed about the domestic component level that was needed by the Indonesian Government.
