Swab Cups Mechanism

Swab cups, also known as swab rubbers or swab sleeves, are cylindrical devices made from elastomeric materials, typically rubber or polyurethane. These cups are strategically positioned around the mandrel of a swabbing tool and serve as the primary between the tool and the wellbore walls.

Application and Selection of Swab Cups

The selection of appropriate swab cups is crucial for optimal performance and safety. Factors to consider include :

• Wellbore size and condition : choose swab cups with the correct diameter and durometer (hardness) to match the wellbore size and condition.
• Fluid type and viscosity : select cups compatible with the fluids being removed and consider their viscosity.
• Operational requirements : assess the specific cleaning and fluid removal needs to determine the most suitable cup type.

With that qualification, we assure you that our product will pass every tender or qualification needed about the domestic component level that was needed by the Indonesian Government.
